Russ Fawson has been tooling leather and making leather items since he was a child. Expanding his skills, he received his initial training under master craftsman Jim Kelly. Under Jim's expert mentoring Russ learned to apply his natural abilities to the craft of saddle making. Russ has discovered a love for building saddles and accessories designed specifically to suit the needs and tastes of you as the customer.

Russ enjoys the outdoors, horses, and guns. From John Wayne to Ghost Towns, Russ has always loved anything that conveys a spirit of the Old West. His love for the old west is reflected in his leather work and woodworking hobbies. His North American Wildlife oil paintings express his love of animals and the outdoors.

A father of 5 children and a growing number of grandchildren, he can often be found camping with his family, cooking up a dutch oven dinner or giving his grandchildren a ride on his horse.
